The name Sherar is derived from a local language and it means “Family”. As the name implies the Hotel is designed and established to make the guests feel at Home, while they are away from Home. Our motto says “COME AS A GUEST, LEAVE AS A FAMILY”; the comfort and feelings created at Sherar Addis Hotel is to make you feel as you are with your family as we believe that you are a part of our Family.

Sherar Addis Hotel, is situated in the heart (business hub) of Addis Ababa, Africa Avenue Road behind Friendship Supermarket. It is ideally placed at a focal point between the city’s business district, historical land marks, major government offices & modern and traditional shopping centers. Is only a walking distance from the biggest Exhibition center.Ride to the hotel only takes 3 minute (just 1 KM) from Bole International Air Port.

Non-guaranteed reservation and Prepayment Policy and procedure – Your credit / debit card is charged the total cost for your entire stay at time of purchase or booking. Rates/Prices and room availability are not guaranteed until full payment is received. Reservations without prepayment may be automatically released by hotel without notice. Reservation prepayments are non-refundable. However, at the sole discretion of Hotel, refunds may be given due to extenuating circumstances.

The credit / debit card you used to make your reservation prepayment must be presented upon check in along with a matching name valid government issued ID such as a driving license or passport. The hotel will NOT be responsible for debit card overdraft fees. If you wish to book multiple rooms, you must use a different name for each room or the duplicate reservation MAY be cancelled by the hotel. Please keep your confirmation number for future reference.

Our official guaranteed check in time is 2pm, however if we have your room available and ready earlier, you may request early check in, additional fee may be applicable.

Our official check out time is 12pm; however you may request a later check out time or half day from 12pm-5pm, with additional fee
